Cycling

     Chennai, the 'Gateway to South India' is blessed with a gracious coastline and abundant of greeneries. Though most of the city comprises of plain or flat lands, the outskirts does offer an ample of rugged and uneven terrains that make this city an ideal cycling destination. And in case, you are not in the mood of pedalling in the outskirts, you can ride within the city and make it to some of the adventurous places in Chennai.

       Cycling is widely regarded as a very effective and efficient mode of transportation for short to moderate distances. 

          Cycling is also a best sport which is played by our sportsman's. It is also good place to spend our time to see all the brave sport. It's a thrilling spot where people show their devote towards their sport. 


           Cycling is also considered to be a good exercise. Many people do cycling in early morning for their good health. Cycling is one of the easiest ways to fit exercise into your daily routine because it's also a form of transport. Cycling also:
  • saves you money
  • gets you fit
  • helps the environment
It's a low-impact type of exercise, so it's easier on your joints than running or other high-impact aerobic activities. But it still helps you get into shape.
Cycling is done in the places of borders of cities. Old cities are used for cycling by the sportsman's. East Coast Road (ECR) is the best place for cycling.

Tour de Rotary - Chennai - RID 3230, a cycling event conducted by K2K Tour de Rotary - TRF Centennial Cycle Rally at Besant Nagar Beach on Sunday,4 December 2016 at 6:00AM
Bicycle Night - Explore Moonlit Chennai, another cycling event, conducted on Friday, 16th and 23rd of December 2016 at 9:30PM by TAME - Tent N Trek at Marina Beach

It proves to be a giant leap forward in promoting cycling as a lifestyle in the country.In a nation overwhelmed by the automobile industry, few organizations try to advance cycling as more than a type of commute; to make it a way of life. In March 2015, TI cycles, better known for its brands Hercules, BSA, Track and Trail, and Montra, opened India's first 'Cycling Cafe' in Chennai. Ciclo Cafe, as it is called, is situated in the heart of the city on the primary street itself making it difficult to miss.
    A new community for Indian Cyclists have been started. Where you can perform the below activities.
    1) You will meet different people each day in a closed community only for cyclist.
    2) You will be able to get help/guidance or help other people who are in need of help.
    3) You will be able to see all the event in one place and able to participate with much more information.
    4) You will be able to showcase your product or upload media about the event you had or anything you like to share.
    5) You will be able to buy/sell any cycling product of your choice.
    6) You will be able to reach out top cycle vendors in India through our forum.
    7) Last but not least , you will lean more about cycling and also you will get tons of cyclists as your friend.
